The Agent node runs an agent from your catalog and captures its result. Use an agent when the step should reason, generate, or take action on its own. Add Agent from the AI group in the node library, then connect it after Start (or after another step). Agent node on the canvas

Configure the Agent node

Select the node to open the Agent panel.
  1. Select agent — Search the catalog and pick an agent, or Create agent. Credentials, model override, and extra guidance stay locked until an agent is selected.
  2. Credentials — Review and configure credentials for that agent.
  3. Model override — Optionally choose a different LLM for this step only.
  4. Extra guidance for this step — Instructions that apply to this workflow step, not to the agent everywhere.
Each assistant and each agent has its own models, knowledge, skills, tools, and prompts. A model override on this node affects only this step.
