# Install

> Install a marketplace skill into a space

Install a marketplace skill into your workspace. Choose a name, space, visibility, and version, then click **Install**.

## Install skill

1. **Skill name** — Prefilled from the marketplace. Edit it if you want a different local name.
2. **Space** — Select the space where this skill will be created.
3. **Visibility** — For example **Private**: only users you grant access to can view and use the skill.
4. **Version** — Choose which marketplace version to install into your space (for example an **ACTIVE** version).

Click **Cancel** to close without installing, or **Install** to add the skill.

After install, assign the skill to an [assistant](/guides/assistants) or [agent](/guides/agents). Each one has its own skill list.
